You have decided on a KERN machine because it incorporates highest precision and dependable repeatability. During the engineering phase the machine has already been designed for highest precision and ergonomic maintenance. The continuous use however creates wear. To minimize waste and maximize efficiency on your work piece we have developed the KERN µ-check.
During the µ-check the precision characteristics and components of your machine are inspected. Our service technicians diagnose, clean and inspect all machine components. Required repairs are immediately executed.
Undertaken in regular intervals the KERN µ-check guarantees a constant machine accuracy and highest availability. The µ-check ensures the same positional accuracy as on the delivery date. A detailed inspection report is supplied and can be applied to your ISO 9001 audit.
We offer the KERN µ-check to our customers at a fixed package including travel and labour time. Only the components that require replacement are invoices seperately. Our service technicians have the most common parts on board, any additionally required parts can be sent over night. Only critical worn components are exchanged. After the inspection and maintenance the machine undergoes a complex KGM grid encoder calibration followed by the input of the new correction values.
The KERN µ-check is available for following models: KERN EVO, KERN Micro, KERN HSPC, KERN MMP, as well as KERN MMT with controller version from Heidenhain 355.
