KERN's contract division manufactures small to medium size batches (up to a few 10.000 p.a). Also complex geometries, micro structures, tolerances of less than 5 µm and the manufacturing of diverse, also tough or hardened material don't frighten us. You don't have to be concerned about the requirements of tomorrow. Our infrastructure garantees rapid adjustments and a quick turnaround.

The manufacturing of µ-exact single- and series production parts represents high requirements to

• Process stability, machine- and process capability (Cp. Cpk)
• Repeatability
• Dimensional accuracy
• Surface quality as well as
• Productivity
  

Especially for the series production machines which possess a higher machining accuracy than required by the part spec are ideal to ensure a very stable process. The parts will always be machines in the required tolerance band.
A 100% quality control is thus no longer required to ensure the part accuracy – spot checks fully suffice.
